I picked up golf less than two years ago and haven't put it down since. Somewhere in those first rounds, out of the North East of England, I found the part of the game that doesn't get talked about. The quiet of it, before anyone else is up.

I started making covers because I wanted something that matched that. Sacred Greens is built on it.

Small details matter here. The stitching, tight and even, holding its shape through wear. The way the fabric holds its colour instead of fading after one season. None of it is there to be noticed. It's there because leaving it out would have been the easier option.
